Position Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Logistics, this role is a critical member of the North America Strategic Sourcing team supporting U.S. and Canada operations (95% U.S. volume).
With the recent acquisitions, our logistics scope has expanded significantly — including warehouse extensions, growing domestic ramp-up production, increased 3PL complexity, and new sustainability initiatives. At the same time, we continue moving thousands of shipments weekly across the U.S.
We are seeking a highly experienced logistics procurement professional who can independently lead carrier strategy, pricing negotiations, and contract management across transportation and warehousing. This is not a junior or operations-only role — it requires deep expertise in freight market dynamics, 3PL contracts, and commercial negotiation.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, can operate in a fast-scaling environment, and is comfortable leading weekly executive-level discussions with carriers while working U.S. Pacific time hours.

Create quick-turn pricing estimates to support rapid business decisions.
2. Contract Management & Commercial Governance
-
Draft, negotiate, and manage 3PL and carrier contracts.
-
Ensure clear rate structures, escalation clauses, service-level agreements, and performance penalties.
-
Proactively monitor market dynamics that impact rates (fuel trends, capacity cycles, seasonal pressures).
-
Lead renegotiations when market conditions shift.
3. Carrier & 3PL Relationship Management
-
Lead weekly business reviews with carriers and account managers.
-
Escalate and resolve service disruptions in partnership with Operations.
-
Drive accountability on performance metrics, OTIF, cost control, and service quality.

This role requires a commercially strong logistics professional who can lead independently from day one.
